Laura, 21 years old, born on 18 September 1997, from Gemert (NL) took second place at the age of 12 in the Dutch and Belgian TV competition “My Name is …”.
After the show followed many performances in her home country and festival organizers across Europe were aware of Laura. Her second name: “the singer with the goosebumping feeling”.

In 2016, Laura van den Elzen reached the final in Germany’s most popular format “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” and took second place. “I want to tell a story with the songs I sing,” says Laura. It should be stories full of emotions. Powerful songs and ballads are her special.

Laura van den Elzen is considered one of the great country talents in Europe.

In 2015 she won a DCMA Award in the category “most promising act”.

Since the end of 2016 she is officially with Mark Hoffmann a duo, the 4th placed from the Laura same DSDS season.
Together they will win the “Austrian Country Award” in the category “The Best Song of the Year” in 2017 with their Country Ballad “How Could I”.
Meanwhile, they play many major country festivals in Europe as “headliners”.
In 2016/2017 Laura and Mark sang their official opening song for the Four Hills Tournament several times for over 25,000 people.
In 2018, Laura & Mark created a brand new genre called Country Pop Schlager, a special mix of Country, German Pop and Schlager.
With MCS Berlin a well-known promotion agency and new very good partners and their first country pop hit singles “Flight to the Stars”, the two with the new confident genre were extremely well received by TV shows as well as downloads. Within a few months, they already had more than 100,000 streams on Spotify alone with the single.
They performed with the single in big music shows like “ZDF Fernsehgarten”, “MDR Musik für Sie”, “rbb Sommergarten”.
2019 will follow more singles, TV appearances and more, ultimately, the Country Pop Schlager album.
